Sure, most of us will purchase a roll up awning to extend out during the day and retract when the sun goes down. It is time to think outside of the box. Waterproof: Most awning lighting kits are waterproof, but be sure to check the specifications of the make and model that you are purchasing to be sure. This is a must when using electricity outdoors. These lights are built for the outdoors and will last the test of time and hold up to the elements.
Light Diffusion: There is nothing worse than being blinded by bright patio lights in the early hours of the night. Many makes and models of awning lights have diffusion globes that cut out the glare, but allow enough diffused light to make the area comfortable. These work great for evening gatherings.
Color Coordination: For those of you that need color coordination and a matching look reach for lighting made by your awning manufacturer. Many manufacturers offer lighting attachments that match their awnings. They come in a variety of styles and colors, so you can be sure to match your style
